Luis Herrera

I am a PhD Candidate in Economics at the Catholique University of Louvain and at the University of the Basque Country (joint supervision). I am currently working at the European Central Bank (DG - Macroprudential and Financial Stability) as a Financial Stability Analyst.

Previously I was at the International Monetary Fund (Monetary and Capital Markets - Monetary Modeling unit) as a PhD intern and I also did a PhD traineeship at the European Central Bank (DG - Research). 

My research interests are in the area of macroeconomics with a particular focus on business cycles, expectations, and macroprudential policies.
